What Does Water Do for Dogs?

Water works in great ways for Doggie as it carries and important nutrients into and out of the cells of the body. Water aids in the digestion of food and helps the body to absorb the nutrients. Water also serves to cool the body down and works to maintain a normal body temperature. That is why we invented DoggieWater.

DoggieWater lubricates and helps joints to make movement easier. The spinal cord and other tissues are also cushioned by consumption of DoggieWater and waste is removed from the body through urination and bowel movements, that are assisted with water in the Doggie body.

All important Doggie functions require water. Without adequate supply, Doggie could become ill quickly and or possibly dehydrated. With lack of water organs might eventually become damaged. Should a deficiency last long enough, organs (such as kidneys, liver, etc.) will begin to shut down.

To make sure that Doggie always has enough water to keep him/her healthy, you must provide clean, clear water daily, or DoggieWater that is easily accessible to your pet. Keep your dog’s bowl filled at all times and always refill with fresh, clean water daily or use DoggieWater. And you can pour over Doggie food also if you want Doggie to enjoy a different taste for a change.

As a rule of thumb, Doggie should drink approximately one ounce of water per pound of body weight each day. Depending on the environmental temperature and the amount of exercise your dog does during each day, more water may be necessary. Watch for excessive panting and salivation, if you see it, give more DoggieWater.

As mentioned previously, Doggie food also contains a small amount of moisture. Dogs that are fed a canned food diet will receive more moisture as canned food is about 70-80% water. These Doggie’s may drink less than a Doggie that eats dry food diet on a daily basis.

Either way to replace electrolytes and add essential vitamins to Doggies diet, use DoggieWater.
